Gascón International obtains ISO 9001 Quality Certification in design, engineering and manufacturing of agricultural machinery

The introduction of this certification, having international character, gives quality guarantees of the processes of work that are executed in Gascón International.

May the 11^th 2013 Gascón International "Herederos de Manuel Gascón S.L.", society specialized in the engineering and in the manufacturing of agricultural machinery, both trailed and suspended, with more than 100 years of experience and with its third generation in the management of the company, has obtained the ISO 9001-2008 Quality Certification, issued by BUREAU VERITAS for the next three years.

Under the responsibility of Artemio Gascón, the aim of the company, once Quality Certification has been obtained, is to continue offering the best service to its customer.

At the beginnings of 2010, because of the important growth that was experimenting the company, with the perspective to overcome it in the following years, especially thanks to the bet, of that same year, to undertake the way towards exporting, under the direction of Dott.ssa Malgarí Lagrasta, the management of Gascón International, represented by Alfred Gascón, started a deep interior analysis, that put into evidence the necessity to establish new and rigorous processes of working, in order to guarantee the maximum quality of the services. In any case, processes able to allow facing the organizational difficulties that means a permanent growth of the company.

It’s right in that moment, while the international markets demand was increasing, that the process of certification is put into practice. New and better procedures are developed and applied. Internal training is promoted. Audits of the society chose to obtain certification. Every step leads company Gascón International to obtain ISO 9001 Quality Certification.

Gascón International has been able to pass through different steps and phases during this process.  One of the most important: understand new rules and succeed in marrying them with its activity. An activity focused in manufacturing and customer service.

One of the most important aims of Gascón International has been that of planning a system of quality management that includes all the keys points of its activity, without converting it into a corset that could limit its agility and its creativity.

The introduction of this certification, having international character, gives quality guarantees of the processes of work that are executed in Gascón International.

Besides, ISO Quality Certification represents an important mark for international markets and a input to follow the way undertaken, because Bureau Veritas realizes auditions with annual periodicity, to confirm that ISO rules are being respected.

The main beneficiaries of this initiative are customer, those who are the final users of the machinery manufactured by Gascón International. They will have the security of being acquiring a product in a company of recognized quality, worried by their satisfaction and needs and by the defense of their interests.
